Welcome Back to the Paris Theater!

The legendary Paris Theater, which first opened its doors in 1948, will reopen on March 19, 2021. We invite you to join us at the longest-running arthouse cinema in New York City, for some upcoming special engagements. From March 19 through April 1, The Trial of the Chicago 7, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin and nominated for six Academy Awards, will have an exclusive 35mm run. Starting on April 2, Mank, directed by David Fincher, and nominated for ten Academy Awards, will also have an exclusive 35mm run. To welcome you back, we’ll be serving free popcorn and beverages at all shows. For upcoming showtimes, and to purchase tickets, please visit this page.

The health and safety of our guests and employees is of the utmost importance to us, and the theater will follow Covid-19 safety regulations and local government guidelines. The Paris has joined the CinemaSafe alliance, a program promoting protocols and guidelines developed and supported by leading epidemiologists to support a safe return to movie theaters.

Since opening an engagement of Marriage Story on November 6, 2019, Netflix operates the theater, giving new life to a landmark of New York moviegoing. The Paris is New York’s movie palace, and Netflix will honor the theater’s history while offering the finest in contemporary cinema, introducing the theater to a new generation of film lovers.

The Paris Theater is at 4 W. 58th Street in Manhattan. To receive updates and schedule information, please join our mailing list.
